Liz Harmon hired as Operations Manager of Shy Wolf Sanctuary Education & Experience Center

(Naples, FL – July 17, 2020) Shy Wolf Sanctuary Education & Experience Center is pleased to welcome Liz Harmon in a newly created position of Operations Manager. In this role, Harmon will oversee animal rescue, ongoing care and enrichment, as well as the Sanctuary’s extensive volunteer program. Harmon holds a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She has 30+ years’ experience in zoos and brings extensive depth of knowledge regarding animal care, enrichment plans, and overall habitat design.

 

Shy Wolf Sanctuary Education and Experience Center was founded in in 1993. In January 2001, Shy Wolf was formalized as a nonprofit organization with the goal of educating people about captive-bred exotic animal rescue in addition to helping more animals in need. The organization is county, state and federally licensed and inspected by Collier County Domestic Animal Services, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the United States Department of Agriculture.
