VOLUNTEERING SHAPES LIVES & PURPOSE

Shy Wolf Sanctuary was an annual travel destination for Griff Gosnell and his father Griff Senior for many years. The dynamic duo would come to Naples and spend their days learning about the animals and everything it takes to run the sanctuary.
Recently, we received an email from Griff updating us on his life and a major achievement…being accepted to medical school at Georgetown University:
Hello Deanna,
I hope you are well! I’m reaching out to thank you for participating in my medical school application. I recently gained acceptance at Georgetown Medical School and I couldn’t have done it without your contribution. Throughout my application and interview process I wrote and spoke about lessons I learned at Shy Wolf and I know it strengthened my admissions chances!
Thank you so much for all you have done for me!
Best,
Griff Gosnell
“We are both proud and thrilled for Griff and his achievements so far, while knowing that the sky is the limit,” said Deanna.
Over the years we’ve had many students volunteer with Shy Wolf Sanctuary. Some, like Griff, started very young and came for many years with a parent or older sibling. Others came to us through their college classes as part of the curriculum. Some did their time and left while others found a calling and stayed on our staff or board.
If you or someone you know would like to volunteer, we invite you to complete the APPLICATION and WAIVER then come on out to our next orientation!
