About Volunteering

**Coronavirus Update March 2020**

To protect the health and safety of our resident animals, staff, and founders Nancy and Kent Smith,
we are limiting the number of volunteers on property.
We will keep your application on file. As soon as we resume our volunteer training, we will send email updates to our volunteers.

We are still actively rescuing wolfdogs and invite you to consider becoming qualified to foster or adopt a wolfdog.

Our volunteers mean the world to us and our animals. We have many opportunities for volunteering available, including event planning, data entry, educational outings in the community, and more. If you’re planning to volunteer with Shy Wolf, please follow the steps below and get scheduled to start.

  • You must be 18 years old to volunteer as an adult.  Minors (7 and older) must be accompanied by an approved adult volunteer.
