We’re Celebrating 15 Years!

Shy Wolf Sanctuary, Education and Experience Center, was born out of one couple’s commitment and an overwhelming need they recognized. It has grown to be so much more than ever dreamt when we started down this journey and incorporated on January 19th, 2001. Committed volunteers and dedicated supporters have enabled us to continue to help exotic animals while sharing lessons learned from them with our community. Shy Wolf has achieved so much, yet there is more to do. With an eye to the future, it is still our goal to acquire land and funding to build a premier sanctuary and educational facility from the ground up.

Founder Nancy Smith said, “I am very thankful for people helping us like they have. The need is huge for what we do, and we always need more help so we can continue our work rescuing animals and teaching the children. I am very, very grateful.”
