Sukaii is one of three wolfdogs that were rescued in Collier County thanks to multiple reports from homeowners in Golden Gate Estates and Bonita Springs. He is about a year old and a northern breed mix with apparent wolfdog traits, but to-date the actual wolf-content has not been confirmed through the Sanctuary’s genetic testing protocols.

When rescued, Sukaii was slightly underweight with matted hair and burrs. Based on his behavior, volunteers believe that he was socialized with humans. Sukaii may have been abandoned because he is a climber and has wolf personality traits.

Sukaii’s favorite person is co-founder, Nancy Smith. He also enjoys morning walks with Ashley and Caitie as he greets the Sanctuary’s other resident animals. Sukaii has been successfully paired with Rain and will enjoy life as one of our resident animals.
