We were contacted about Haku because he was living his life on a chain.  The owner placed him with a family member because she couldn’t keep him, and the family member had horses.  Haku’s natural prey drive was kicking in and he would chase the horses and farm animals any chance he got.

This sweet boy wants attention and food, not necessarily in that order!  He’s become a great companion and teacher to Ginger, and tolerates her puppy mouthiness and constant desire to play very well. Haku really loves attention from our staff and volunteers, but he can be a little persistent with certain men. He really enjoys scent enrichment and bubbles in his bath (animal friendly of course).
