Dancing with Wolves

May 1, some 60 people danced the night away at Fred Astaire Studio in Naples to support our residents.  Created and organized by Studio leadership and staff, “Dancing with the Wolves” featured demonstrations and lessons from the Studio’s professional dancers, a silent auction, and a chance for attendees to learn more about Shy Wolf’s essential mission and impact. Guests were able to meet and connect with one of our ambassador wolf dogs, Chief, who came from Cape Coral to join the party!

$2,590 was raised, and according to Studio owner and instructor Brian Oakes, supporting Shy Wolf underscores Fred Astaire’s role as community partner:

Fred Astaire Studios has long been a community partner, raising funds for and promoting the good work of a number of non-profits and initiatives.   Hosting an event for Shy Wolf was about giving back, and we were happy to support an organization that teaches people about animal neglect and abuse.
