Everts relocated to Naples from the Netherlands in 2016 bringing over 30 years experience in the medical industry to the southwest Florida gulf coast. An innovative researcher with extensive business development experience, Everts directs educational training programs for medical professionals, currently serving as Director for Gulf Coast Biologics in Ft Myers.

In the Netherlands, Everts co-owned an integrative healing center and also served as Founder and Chief Science Officer for a medical company serving markets around the globe. Through his consulting firm, Everts has served as consultant for U.S. companies Cytomedix and Arthrex. His background specializes in regenerative medicine, cell therapies and wound care.

Everts and his wife, Joan, are active volunteers at Shy Wolf Sanctuary. As a new board member, Everts will bring professional business development consultation and guidance to grow Shy Wolf Sanctuary and develop the medical care program for the animals with onsite veterinary care in a new sanctuary.

“We are honored Peter has joined our board of directors,” said Beth Swiderski, President of Shy Wolf Sanctuary. “His business development experience in the medical industry will help us move forward with a new state of the art sanctuary for our animals.”
